What is Love?
A question which everybody can answer, many are unsure of their answer, some refuse to answer and a very few lucky ones know the actual answer.
I know most or all my friends or family will think this is a really silly question and think me as going crazy. But stop pretending for a moment that you don’t care about this question and think about your own answer. Yeah! I know. You know the answer is different to mine but also the same:-)
Don’t worry the answer keeps changing as life goes on.
Also, instead of answering, just see pictures of your friends, cousins or anyone who are blissfully in love and/or are happily married. For most of us, our close friends or family are the best examples of love & happiness.
Just look at this friend’s blog header pic of this lovely couple . A very lucky guy who is happily married and you can confirm (see his disclaimer) with his best friend, girl friend and wife!
A while ago, I came up with an answer out of curiosity and to explore my creative writing skills. But I was too embarrassed to make it public. Well Abhi from work (yeah the famville guy) convinced me to share it with a wider audience. So here goes..
Love is a state of being, which human beings were born to find or achieve in their journey through life.
It can be perceived as a roller coaster ride or a ship with an anchor in the middle of a calm sea.
It puts you in bliss, shows happiness and sorrow, causes anger and cools you down with forgiveness.
It gives complete clarity and at the same time throws you into chaos.
It fluctuates, gives you power and then destroys it, making you very vulnerable.
But it then settles down as your foundation, an anchor or all good things in life while you are on cloud #9.
With love you don’t go through life. You fly though it!
and on and on
I could go on and on, but only a person in love would understand it or find the patience to read it. At the same time that same person may not understand it, because it’s so different for all of us or maybe the same.
