What do you do
when
you have nothing to do
What will you speak
when
you have nothing to say
What will you think
when
you are afraid of your thoughts
When will you act
before
you change your mind
What will you believe
when
you want to change the world
How will you answer
when
you ask yourself – Can I change?
The answer..
think if you will
feel if you can
But
Just end IT
finally something from keshav this month! that too one with angst! oh my my!!!
🙂 I know man. Sorry about the long long pause. I will make it up to you guys
Wow, I think you wrote this for me today?…I have actually asked that same question earlier today!! Thanks for this, I am happy to see you back 🙂 xxx Much love xx
Great! Thanks for the welcome back (damn people think I left). But I did write it for myself and all of us.
wow…..
after a long time, good to see u again…
🙂
What do you do when you have nothing to do
Of course, we’re not just looking for things we can’t do. We’re looking for things we can’t say that are true, or at least have enough chance of being true that the question should remain open.
How will you answer when you ask yourself – Can I change?
You don’t have to look into the past to find big differences. In our own time, different societies have wildly varying ideas of what’s ok and what isn’t. So you can try diffing other cultures’ ideas against ours as well. (The best way to do that is to visit them.) 🙂
What will you believe when you want to change the world
In order for things to change, WE have to change. We can’t change others; we can only change ourselves. However, when WE change, it changes everything. And in doing so, we truly can be the change we want to see in the world
“If it’s to be, it’s up to me.”
very nice one keshav.
this is upbeat poem.
love the image

Love it! You have nailed the emotions with the actions…just do it!
Loved your comment. Thanks!
These are questions that have filled my days. You hit home with this one.
All I was hoping was to remind myself. I’m overwhelmed by all your comments and how you can relate to this.
makes sense !! thank you for this simple yet elegant thought 🙂
Thank you for saying so. Liked your work too.
Love the end and how you got us there 🙂
Thank you. Now I need to figure out the answers for those questions.
I loved this poem. But I admit, feeling slightly embarrassed here, that I don’t understand the last line….?
Sorry, I’m a bit slow today.
I agree that the last line was confusing. It was specifically meant for me and people in my situation. Thanks for liking this poem.
I’m confused about the direction of my life. It frustrates me and leaves open questions. I want to force myself to face this questions and get answers and then to act on them. I want to end the chatter in my brain.
I really understand that feeling of confusion at the moment. Everything feels very up in the air in my life and there are many situations that need me to make choices; something I’m just not ready to do yet, until I have more clarity.
Ending the chatter in the brain is a great idea. I think I’ll join you in that one.
Thanks Lisa for the support. But you found your passion(s) in your journey – Thats quite an achievement!
Keshav
These are the questions I often ask myself when in the midst of the “dark night of the soul”…Your poem balances the powerful energy of such mental thought patterns with delicacy and beauty.
Lovely

Wow, some poems sound pretty and all, but this one makes me ~feel something. Thanks
Thank you so much for such an honest opinion.
Hi Keshav.
For me, this is a straightforward piece and its message goes straight to the readers’ heart and mind (well, at least it does for me ^^). It brings some positive vibes yet wakes the “sleepy-head” in me. Thanks for bringing up this poem. 🙂
I don’t know what exactly was in my mind when I wrote this. But you just gave me a good picture..thanks 😉
Great questions and well-expressed. But I never have nothing to do!!!
Victoria
Thanks. I meant “Nothing to do” with respect to following life’s purpose.
I have to drop a comment here. I like your poem. It is what many people asks themselves in a certain moments of life. Decisions, trying to do our best, to find the maning and the way out… I was confues about the last line as well, have to admit that. Good work!
Another strong poem. Seems you are getting people talking too!
Thanks man. You were there from the start…
i don’t know what IT is yet.
anyway, good job =]
IT is the confusion or lack of direction in my head
have fun!
